Lakeside Superbowl

A good place for a family outing, but as it can get busy, it is best to phone in and book a lane. The place is clean and welcoming, the prices reasonable. During half term and summer holidays they do special offers in the morning- you cannnot book for this, so turn up early!
The food is chips, chicken nuggets and burgers mostly, sweets and softdrinks available for kids so they are easily catered for.
Good entertainment and great fun.

As soon as I stepped in, I knew it was going to be just great. I went out with friends of mine to bowl and this was such a phenomenal time well spent. I thought to myself. Looking around, there was so much to do. The grand prix caught my attention and then I thought to myself 'calm down babe. Tonight is bowling night.' So we all went to grab our special bowling shoes. For one thing, the prices were reasonable - a pound for the shoes and the bowling game was £3.95. We had made an earlier reservation for 8.00p.m but were delayed in getting there. Good thing the service was courteous and we were told that we could play a round which was about ten shots per individual (and we were a lot!) just before closing time. Funny enough, that turned out to be just ideal. It was so much fun. I saw a couple of teens playing the b-ball dunking game and I found myself yelling when they missed a dunk! I loved the wall décor, really soothing and calming. As I showed off my special bowling skills, everyone stared in admiration and tried to imitate my move. Nice try! I thought. I guess it was something about my shoes. As I saw the lights dimming and people having dinner chatting away, I realised it was nearly time to go home. I thoroughly had fun - loads of it at that too! When i entered Lakeside superbowl for the very first time five years ago I was so amazed how much size there was in the building. I was only 9 years old at the time i wanted to go on every amusement going ranging from the grabbers to win teddies to american pool and air hockey. The whole experience was fantastic the bowling was outstanding. If planning on going then book lanes early can get very busy. The food is out of this world! The chicken nuggets are fantastic. Lakeside superbowl is not expensive at all they have very reasonable proces for everything. Check it out now! It's awesome!

This bowling emporium is good, but could be so much better if only they employed a decent cleaning team! Bowling alleys have the unfortunate kicker of being a place that insists you take your shoes off, and of course not all are as fresh of foot as we would like, but the pervading smell of feet really is not all that nice!! The bowling alleys are relatively well cared for, but the bar area and toilets need attention. As long as you can get over the neat freak aspect, its really a rather nice place to go as a family for a good laugh!

Lakeside Superbowl makes a lovely day out. For family or couples. When i first went to the place it just had everything you could think of grabbers, Air hockey , American pool a small arcade at the back. The bowling is good too, you can order a extra small ball for just £1 its a deposit you get it back. But its good if you have little ones . They have a nice cafe too the food is lovely scampi is the best. You should try it out good fun.
