Tomato Salad and Smoked Reindeer Joint starters... do not miss! Sounds yucky, tastes great. The tomatoes were fresh, ripe and tasty in a vinaigrette. The Smoked Reindeer was served like a chicken salad on toast.
Service is slow, so order a beer or wine with your starters.
We both ordered the chicken breast filet. My husband asked for a salad as a substitute for the French Fried potatoes. It was served as chopped greens (not the dreaded romaine) with cucumber and tomato slices drizzled lightly with a light vinaigrette. My French Fries were crispy and hot. The chicken was grilled, fork tender and generous with two breasts. I had the Gorgonzola sauce and my husband had the pepper sauce which was peppery but not with bell peppers, black pepper instead. My Gorgonzola sauce was delicious and only lightly salted.

Great steak tartar, great meatballs. All home made and delicious. Not-so-good fries though, obviously from the freezer. Very professional service. A charming black terrier, which the restaurant is named for, occupied the table next to ours. I will be back!

Excellent food and service! This charming little place was able to accommodate our group of 8 people on relatively short notice. The food was delicious, desserts the perfect portion, and staff very welcoming and helpful.
