Wow, this event was LEGIT! We got in and the set up was so professional and inviting. We had vitamin well, popcorn, and pizza waiting for us. The pizza was delicious, and I must go visit the restaurant to try some more varieties. That's one thing I love about yelp events, getting to try food from new places.
When it came to the drinks, I was so glad the instructor decided to take it in English. The biggest thing I took from the class is a 5-3-2 booze-acid-sweetener ratio. My partner and I followed that ratio exactly, and all of our drinks ended up pretty damn good (some were just ok, but I guess it depends on your preference)! I really enjoyed this event and this is something I'd definitely recommend others do if given the opportunity.
Thank you to Agnes and Yelp!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Solveig R.Stockholm1201215772 juni 2016
Incredible event! What could possibly go wrong with drinks and tons of fun ingredients on a sunny rooftop terrace in Stockholm?
I missed the first two events, but, to be honest, I don't really like whisky - so just making it to the cocktail event was fine by me!
I'm TERRIBLE at making drinks. Like, the actual worst. I don't have any drink ingredients at home because I know it will end badly. I just stick to wine and when I go out I tell the bartender to "make me something tasty".
So learning how to make a real drink was fantastic! I feel like I was given a magical secret formula and now I might dare mix things up in my own kitchen again. (That magic formula: 5 parts booze, 3 parts tangy, 2 parts sweet.)
The pizza was also delicious as always - Teseo knows what he's doing!
The atmosphere was relaxed and fun and there quite simply isn't a better way to spend a sunny Sunday evening than this!
My only desire would perhaps be that we learned another drink type - just learning whisky sour and then going free led to some extremely failed mixes. :) Haha. But we learned a lot and did end up with some good ones!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Teseo B.Stockholm27224 maj 2016
Lovely evening that turned out great fun! The theory was interesting and the practice even more. We had the opportunity to try to mix our own thing, it is very hard to find the right mix and balance in cocktails. For me the best was a simple 40/20/30 amaretto whiskey orange, great with a bit of ice! Thank you.
